Hello, my name is Vester Slawson. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Before retiring, I worked as a commercial construction superintendent for 46 years. I have built many large buildings, a few of which include an automobile facility, an elementary school, a hotel, a theater and dance school and a Planetarium
I enjoyed the challenge of the construction field and since my retirement I have enjoyed the pleasure of working with wood, building Adirondack Furniture, Birdhouses, Mailboxes, and Benches.
My wife and I have 4 children who are all married to wonderful mates and 11 beautiful grandchildren, who range in age from 18 years old to 7 months old.
We are active in our church, serving the Lord by teaching Sunday School, serving on committees and keeping up with ministry work. The Lord graciously saved me 32 years ago, and I have wanted to live for His honor and glory ever since.
